To Eat or Not to Eat ....What drove me to start my blog...

Dear Readers,

Like most of you, I too was always happy in my little bubble, where life meant family, friends, work and parties.I am essentially a full-fledged foodie and changed my passion into my profession by pursuing Hotel Management and then working with JW Marriott.

During these years, I developed many health conditions that came along with a pile of medicines. It was not until I attended a course on how to lead a healthy and medicine-free life, that I realised what a delusional and detrimental lifestyle I had adopted. It has now dawned on me that there is a desperate need to ensure that more people know about this, before they too travel this downward spiral filled with medicines and ailments.

It is interesting how we have developed eating into such a "convenient" and "quick" activity, a process that was meant to be such an essential part of our existence has now been reduced to merely a task. What we do not realize is that this change has affected us not only physically but also emotionally and mentally.
Just a case in point, scientifically, the thirty-two teeth in our mouth themselves should have been indicative of the importance of chewing every particle of food into pulp, but today, we find it easier to buy ready-made pulps instead to save ourselves the time and effort.

Nature was created to accomodate us and hence was gifted with plants and trees, whose produce was meant to be our food. The human body was designed to consume raw fruits and vegetables, however, we have started believing that something can only taste good when cooked.I don't deny this completely, but, that does not change the fact that by cooking most pulses, sprouts and vegetables we kill the essential nutrients and minerals that our body requires. Not only that , we also ignore the importance of alkaline and mineral rich water , the most easily available and essential Elixir of Life! The water that we consume today is a highly acidic and chlorine-rich liquid, which adds no value to us, rather harms us in one way or another.

It is amazing how just a minor change in these eating habits and some stuctured exercise routines can make you feel far more fitter!

I've decided now that I want to put my culinary and patisserie knowledge to constructive and productive use. I believe that no matter what the ingredients, the right balance of portions and measures, with even a pinch of passion can make anything taste lipsmackingly yummy!

Through this blog, I would love to share with you the tasty and delicious recipes that I experiment on, keeping it as interesting and innovative as possible. Trust me the feeling you get after sticking onto such a diet is beyond words. Try it and Tell me if you don't agree!
